Community Reference Groups are commonly called CRGs.
A CRG is a group of community members who come together to discuss and provide community perspectives on West Moreton Health's services. Group members are selected through an application process and are people who reflect the local community, have good community connections and come from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
CRGs may discuss a specific issue to enhance communication between the health service and the community.
West Moreton Health currently facilitates five CRGs throughout the region including:
- Ipswich
- Lockyer Valley
- Somerset
- Fassifern
- Springfield Ripley
Meetings are held in the local community with West Moreton Health representatives travelling to the location of the CRG to meet on a quarterly basis.
If you are interested in finding out how to get involved in your local CRG, get in touch with the Senior Engagement Officer:

Joining a CRG allows you to share your and your communities experiences with West Moreton Health's service, to help make the services we provide better meet the needs of your community.
