Account payment

All patients are required to pay for discharge medications. Private and non-Medicare eligible patients may also be required to pay for prosthetics, diagnostic and hospital accommodation fees. Non-Medicare eligible patients are also required to pay for all outpatient services, for example fracture clinic, emergency department visit and pathology. Accounts for planned admissions should be paid three working days prior to coming to hospital to enable documentation to be completed and processed before surgery.
