BreastScreen Queensland Service
Health Services

Emergency departments work on a triage system. This means that when you arrive, a medical assessment is carried out to see how urgently you need medical care. We will see and treat everyone who presents to the emergency department, starting with the sickest people first.

Mental Health
Provides a range of specialist health assessment and interventions across mental health, prison health and alcohol and other drug services.
View our welcome movie, available in six languages, including subtitles, to introduce the health service and explain patient rights.
Specialist outpatient services1

An outpatient is a patient who comes to hospital for treatment but does not stay overnight. All outpatient services are provided at Ipswich Hospital and Ipswich Health Plaza.

Oral Health

We provide general and emergency dental care with no out-of-pocket expenses to eligible patients.
