West Moreton Health (WMH) took to the world stage recently when Dr Yohan Chacko presented at the 37th Annual Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT) Conference in San Diego, California.
Held from 31 October to 3 November 2025, TCT is the annual scientific symposium of the Cardiovascular Research Foundation and the world’s foremost educational forum specializing in interventional cardiovascular medicine.
Dr Chacko (pictured at the conference) presented on the findings of the research he and Senior Cardiac Physiologist Anitha Lakshmanan are leading with the WMH Cardiac Catheter Lab team.
The research focuses on the use of Intra-Vascular Ultrasound (IVUS) in Interventional Cardiology.
The project benefited from a West Moreton Health Foundation grant, which supported the purchase of the IVUS catheters.
