Ipswich Hospital is expanding

We’re making our hospital bigger and better to make it easier for our growing community to get the health care they need.

We’ll have more beds, operating rooms and a larger emergency department. We're also upgrading our buildings and adding a range of new services, including satellite medical imaging, cancer care and allied health day services.

We've finished some upgrades and plan to open all new services and facilities by late 2027.
