We visit public high schools in the West Moreton region. Our nurse doesn't visit private schools.

Students can book private appointments with our nurse and talk about a range of topics that they may not want to talk about with another adult.

We can talk to you and answer any questions you have about sex, gender, puberty, relationships, contraception and do pregnancy testing.

It's common to feel worried, sad, stressed and angry at times. But if you keep feeling like this or it's affecting your everyday life, it might be time to let someone know. We offer a safe place to talk and can also help you find more support if you need it.

  • ReachOut
    The ReachOut website is an online mental health service for young people in Australia.
  • headspace
    Create a headspace account and access online and phone counselling services. They help young people with mental, physical and sexual health, alcohol and other drugs, and work and study support.
  • Kids Helpline
    Call Kids Helpline if you need advice, counselling or just someone to talk to – no problem is too big or too small. They’re open 24 hours a day.
Drugs and addiction

Addiction happens when someone compulsively engages in behaviour such as drug taking, gambling, drinking or gaming. We can help you find the support you need if you're drinking, taking drugs, including vaping.

Parents and other health professionals such as school guidance counsellors, can refer students by filling in a Young Person Referral Form (PDF) and emailing it to WM_SBYHN@health.qld.gov.au.
